Background

The Canton Trade Fair, (recently renamed the China Import and Export Fair), started in 1957, and is now one of the biggest trade events on the international trading calendar.

The Canton Fair is a biannual event, held in April and October every year.

More than sixteen broad product categories are on exhibit, and the Fair is held in three Phases, covering industrial and consumer products.

Last year, it attracted over 31,000 exhibitors, and 190,000 visitors to each of its sessions.

Who Should Attend?

People wanting to import, or current importers wanting to see the latest China has to offer.

See below a list of categories on exhibit for Phase 1, 2 and 3.

Why Attend With ChinaDirect?

Much of the value of attending the Fair is actually delivered before you arrive! Prior to your trip, we research the total China market for your product(s), tender out your requirements, and undertake initial background checks on potential suppliers. You will not only know who is interested in doing business with you, but very importantly, know FAIR MARKET PRICE.

So rather than the Canton Fair being an overwhelming experience where you don’t know who to trust, you attend with confidence from thorough market knowledge.

Whilst attending Canton Fair, many clients also take the opportunity to visit factories we’ve short listed for them.

During your trip, our professional Chinese Trade Assistants will help you avoid the pitfalls of doing business in China, and act as your guide and translator.
